About the Role:
Flow Digital is seeking a seasoned Data Center Security Manager
to lead the physical security operations of our mission-critical data center facilities. In this role, you will ensure the protection of infrastructure, manage access control, drive compliance, and implement risk mitigation strategies. You’ll lead a team of security professionals while coordinating closely with operations and technology teams to maintain a secure and resilient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Program Leadership: Develop and enforce physical security policies and procedures, including access control, surveillance, and emergency protocols.
- Team Management: Lead and train security personnel; coordinate staffing, drills, and continuous improvement programs.
- Technology Oversight: Manage security systems such as CCTV, biometrics, fire suppression, and intrusion detection to ensure peak performance.
- Risk & Threat Management: Conduct ongoing assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Incident Response: Lead investigations and response efforts for any security incidents. Maintain up-to-date incident handling protocols.
- Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure adherence to standards like ISO 27001 and support internal/external security audits.
- Access Control: Monitor real-time data center access, implement layered access protocols, and manage visitor authorization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cybersecurity and IT teams to align physical security with digital protection strategies.
- Disaster Recovery Support: Assist in developing and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans from a security perspective.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, produce incident reports, and present insights to senior leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years in physical/data center security, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of security systems, data center infrastructure, and environmental monitoring.
- Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CPP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Leadership & Communication: Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or related field.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with hybrid cloud environments, security automation tools, and mission-critical infrastructure.
