🌍  Deputy Design Manager (Geotechnical | Design & Build | Singapore)

About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced  Deputy Design Manager  to join our client in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will support the management of a high-performing design team, mentor junior engineers, and lead the delivery of innovative ground engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide junior engineers through coaching, training, and technical support
  • Understand and manage client requirements; liaise with consultants and stakeholders
  • Ensure designs comply with regulations, engineering codes, and company standards
  • Lead or support the development of "Design & Build" and  ground improvement  solutions
  • Conduct technical reviews and deliver timely, high-quality design outputs
  • Investigate technical issues and support project closing reviews for continuous improvement
  • Represent the company in engineering societies, conferences, and global knowledge networks
  • Make site visits to engage project teams, monitor quality, and reinforce best practices
  • Promote technical solutions and provide marketing support to clients and consultants

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in  Civil Engineering
  • Minimum  10 years of relevant experience , including at least  5 years in Singapore
  • Strong  geotechnical design experience  and proven problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software such as  Plaxis, GeoStudio, Settle3 , or similar
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
