- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) for FPSO conversion projects.
- Ensure the QMS complies with local, national, and international standards and regulations.
- Establish quality policies, procedures, and standards specific to FPSO conversion projects.
- Conduct regular quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Identify and mitigate quality risks through proactive planning and implementation of corrective actions.
- Oversee quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and verification of materials and processes.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed quality requirements and client expectations.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, and audit findings.
- Prepare regular QA/QC performance reports for senior management and clients.
- Ensure all quality records are properly archived and easily accessible for audits and reviews.
- Develop and deliver QA/QC training programs for project staff and subcontractors.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the project team.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all QA/QC matters with clients, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in QA/QC.
- Lead initiatives to enhance quality performance and project outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ CQE) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in QA/QC management within the maritime or oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in FPSO conversion projects.
